The Parenting Time Program at New Horizons Crisis Center is designed to help families as they go through difficult and/or transitional times.

We provide a positive, safe, neutral and interactive location for children to spend time with their non-residential parent without being in the middle of conflicts. Through this Program, children have an opportunity to maintain a relationship with both parents. Our number one priority is for the emotional and physical health and well being of the children.

The Program serves families in Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, and Redwood counties through court orders and referrals. Other counties and voluntary parents are welcome contingent upon availability.

• Parenting time appointments must be set up in advance by contacting the Program Director.
• An intake interview must take place prior to the first parenting time appointment.
• Any required fees must be pre-paid.
• Walk-ins are NOT accepted.
• Parenting time and safe exchange times are available Sundays from 1:00pm - 8:00pm and Mondays through Saturdays from 8:30am - 8:00pm.
• A trained staff member monitors each parenting time and is familiar with the policies and procedures of the Program.
• Children are NEVER left alone with the non-residential parent.
• The trained monitor will escort the child/ren between parents.
• Parents must comply with all court orders and the policies and procedures of the Program and respect their children’s rights and feelings.
